Xiaomi is bringing a new phone to rival the iPhone, with a huge space for storing photos, videos and music
The Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to be launched in China on December 1. However, it has been postponed due to the death of the former Chinese president and the date of the new event is yet to be announced by the company. Over the past few months, a lot of information has leaked online about both the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models included in the upcoming series.
The brand has even teased some of the key specifications of these new flagship smartphones. And now a report has revealed the RAM and storage configurations of both the Xiaomi 13 series handsets. Xiaomi 13 series RAM and storage options revealed
Tipster Ishaan Agarwal and PriceBaba have jointly revealed the RAM and storage variants of the new Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. According to the report, the standard Xiaomi 13 model will be available in four variants. These are 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
The phone will be available in a limited edition color option. Again, the Pro model will also come with the same memory configuration as the regular variant. Other than these facts, no additional information about the Xiaomi 13 series has been revealed in the new report.
Various information about the Xiaomi 13 series has already been leaked online. Both the standard and Pro models will have E6 AMOLED display. However, the standard model will feature a flat screen. And, the Pro model is confirmed to come with a curved edge integrated display. Both the devices will have ultra-narrow bezels of just 1.61mm all around and a metal frame. The upcoming Xiaomi handsets will use Germany’s famous Leica brand camera.

The company has confirmed that the Pro model will house a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary sensor. Besides, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro models will come with two different 75mm telephoto cameras with f/2.0 aperture. Read more
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 13 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor. The devices will include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technology. The regular and Pro models are expected to support 67W and 120W fast charging.
