Honor 80 series is coming with 160 MP camera when will it be launched?
Honor is all set to launch the new Honor 80 series in the Chinese market on November 23. So before the upcoming launch multiple information about the devices of this lineup has also started to come out. Even recently the company confirmed the name of the chipset used in the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro models. And today, the company released a new poster to confirm the camera capabilities of the Honor 80 series, which is believed to be the primary sensor of the Pro model of the series. Honor 80 series camera specifications revealed
Honor recently released a poster on social media, confirming that the Honor 80 series will feature a 160-megapixel primary camera. Earlier, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed in a post that the sensor will be a customized version of the 200-megapixel camera sensor. It’s probably a custom version of the Samsung ISOcell HPX 200 megapixel camera. click here
The poster also revealed that the Honor 80 series will feature a pill-shaped camera cutout on the display. And the front of the phone is expected to have a pair of 50 megapixel selfie cameras. Although, nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the Honor 80 Pro is believed to sport a 50-megapixel dual selfie camera setup and a 160-megapixel primary rear camera.
Incidentally, the Honor 80 series is expected to include three models. These are – Honor 80SE, Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro. Honor recently confirmed that the Honor 80 and its Pro variant will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 782 (unannounced) and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets respectively. Note that the Honor 80 SE and Honor 80 models are expected to support 66W fast charging. The Pro model will likely offer 100W charging. The entire series will likely run the latest Magic UI 7.0 custom skin based on Android 13.
